We carry out the following treatments for control of
- General pest such as cockroaches, bedbugs, silverfish, black & red ants, spiders, etc.
- White ants
- Woodborers
- Rodents
- Flies & Mosquitoes
- Garden pests.
The mode of treatment varies according to the type and extent of infestation. The insecticides used are approved by the various Indian government agencies and also approved worldwide. We believe in educating our clients about the problems and their prevention, which leads to better Pest Management Solutions!!
General Insect Pest Control
The premises are treated for pests such as cockroaches, bedbugs, silverfish, ants (red & black) etc., which come under this category. Highly effective, less toxic and certified insecticides are used for treatment. We take careful consideration of people suffering from allergies and illnesses, while treating the premises.
In commercial premises special attention is paid to vulnerable areas like canteen, pantries, toilets, drains and storage areas. Since certain sensitive equipments like telephones, computers, electrical installations etc. cannot be sprayed, We generally apply gel/pastes, which do not have any smell and can remain for long periods of time to provide protection from these pests.
White Ant Control
Pre- Construction Termite Control treatment is carried out by comprehensive treatment of buildings, right from the excavation depth, till the plinth level of the building. We believe that white ants not only come from the soil, but also come along with buildings materials, like sand structural and constructional timber etc.
In cases where the premises use a large amount of timber, apart from treating the masonary structure, we treat the timber to prevent attack from borers, termites and fungus. This treatment is very effective to prevent rotting of wooden gates, doors and frames.
Historically, the best way to stop termites from destroying homes is by applying chemical barrier of the termicide in the soil around the structure. The efficacy of a conventional barrierdepends on its completeness. Any break in the barrier (due to construction activity, improper application, shifting of treated soil mass, subsidence, etc.) renders it useless and the structure lays exposed to a termite attack.
In addition, the repellent nature of a conventional pesticide actively encourages termites to avoid the barrier and look for gaps. Imidacloprid being non-repellent termites do not look around the “barrier” for a gap. Termites exposed to the chemical become dysfunctional immediately and stop feeding.
This ensures that no further structural damage can take place. In addition termites transfer the chemical and its debilitating effects by contact to nest mates not directly exposed to treated zone in the soil. This causes reduction in termite populations by attrition and hence it has replaced conventional products in both pre-construction and post-construction termiticide treatment.
Woodborer Control
These are tiny microscopic insects, which are found inherent in the wood. They can at sometime lie dormant for a long period of time (3-8 years). In their active state they bore holes in the wood producing sawdust like powder generally found in line with where the holes are bored. The treatment consists of injecting/applying oil-based insecticide through holes created by woodborers wherever noticed.
Rodent Control
Our major focus in rodent control of any premises is 80% on application of preventive measures. The balance 20% is on operative measures, which may be as follows- Maximum amount of trapping by using rattraps.
- Placing of glue-boards for catching of rodents.
- Minimal use of baiting with rat poisons, only as a measure in extreme need. This is to avoid concurrent problems such as rodents dying in unforeseen places and causing an unpleasant odour.
Mosquito Control
The premises are thoroughly inspected and appropriate treatment is carried out. Mosquito control again involves various preventive measures backed up by proper operative measures. Fogging using environmentally friendly and effective pesticides is done in common areas and infested areas after adequate inspection. However, treatment by itself is not a solution to mosquito problems. Maximum results can only be obtained by creating an environment which does not cater to the influx of mosquitoes.
We also provide treatment of bed nets.
Ornamental Pest Control
Ornamental plants are subject to attack from an extremely wide variety of insects and other related pests. The type of damage the pest inflicts on the plant (sucking the plant juices, chewing the foliage, etc.) is important in aiding identification of the pest and, in general, indicates which pesticide to apply for control. Ornamental pest control involves treatments for Aphids, Scale, Mites, Fungal Diseases, Thrips and other plant chewing and juice-sucking insects. Tree spraying and soil injections are the different methods available.
